About the sessions

Meditation is an essential part of any foundation and is present in all ancestral communities. We call it contemplation, to remain within us, to live within ourselves.

Meditation is, therefore, the capacity to remain present, in the here and the now; A crucial key to a balanced, healthy, and joyful life through conscious presence. It is one of the main forms through which we cleanse Spirit, mind, and body.

As we go about life, how much are we with ourselves? More often than not, we are absent from our own life experience; Letting circumstances take over vs directing our life; Living out of our center and out of balance. Often, our worries drive us into living a chaotic life. Obviously, sometimes the chaos does not occur because of us & is the result of external circumstances. However, when we learn to understand the fundamentals of the art of good living, we create the proper foundation from where we can remain stable despite the difficult external chaos occurring in the world.

Emotional distress and clouded judgment are often on the rise and, before we know it, arguments, fights, lack of performance at work, and weakened relationships become the flow of the day. This unfolding is precisely why we meditate, to cultivate the capacity to remain centered, balanced, and conscious; Able to direct our life in conscious presence and freedom.

Here are some of the things that we do during the 2-hour zoom sessions:

  • Learn the foundation of Ancestral Meditation practices like Qhaway;
  • Learn various methods to cleanse your energy;
  • Learn how to understand the energy of the elements and how to incorporate them into your meditation practice;
  • Receive sound therapy;
  • Learn about various ancestral techniques that may help you find peace, balance, and well-being; &
  • Learn about the scientific evidence that exists to support these alternative approaches to mental & physical health through inner peace, presence, & balance.

As a participant in our classes, you are invited to join the community of the Art of Good Living through our private Signal group. The intention here is to allow the members to help each other in their practice, exchange about class content, & discuss questions about the teachings in order to gain a deeper understanding of the Art of Good Living.
