A- Definitions

The following definitions (as well as those offered in the rest of this document) apply to this Agreement as a whole:

Association”, “Seller” refer to the Akhamani Association.
“Services” refers to paid activities organized and lead by the Association in the form of workshops, retreats, seminars, and healing by alternative methods.
“Customer” refers to the Association’s paying participant to the Services.
“T&Cs” refer to the Terms and Conditions.
“Events Bridged by Akhamani” refer to the workshops, retreats, healings by alternative methods, and seminars organized by the Ancestral people of the world and which are paid directly to them. These events are thus only advertised and made available to the general public through the Association’s site. The Association does not organize or collects any payment for these events. Therefore, The Association is not responsible for any Customer participation or involvement in these events.

B- General Sales Conditions

The Akhamani association, governed by the law of July 1, 1901, and the decree of August 16, 190, occasionally organizes and regularly advertises events that offer Customers a variety of Services that motivate, guide, and support self-development, well-being, and mindfulness, as well as energy techniques, and healing by alternative methods.

The Association thus offers occasional Services in the form of workshops, retreats, seminars, and healing by alternative methods in Europe.

Primarily, the Association bridges ancestral practices to the general public. One of our objectives is to serve as a platform to promote the events of the Ancestral People. The modality and organization of the Events Bridged by Akhamani are lead and stipulated by the ancestral people and all payments are made directly to them.

The purpose of the Services and the Events Bridged by Akhamani is to provide the Customer with a moment of physical and mental relaxation, mental release, and emotional rebalancing.

The objective is to enable the Customer to manage stress, relieve accumulated tensions, and maintain physical and mental well-being as autonomously as possible.

The Services aim to support each Customer to understand the functioning of the different physical and mental relationship processes and to meet the needs and expectations of the latter through the traditional knowledge of the ancestral people of the world.

The Association also regularly advertises and facilitates registration to the Events Bridged by Akhamani through its site www.akhamani.org. Please note that registration to these events is at your own risk and that the Association is not responsible for anything that occurs during your participation and involvement in these events.

The Facilitators of our Services come from the following Ancestral Lineages:

  • Buddhist from Tibet, Nepal, India, and Europe
  • Hindus of India
  • Native Americans of North America
  • Toltecs, Wixaritari / Huichol and Otomi from Mexico
  • Q’ero from Peru
  • Shamans of Mongolia
  • Maori Shamans of New Zealand
  • And ancestral European practitioners

Core Values of the Association

The core values ​​of the Association are listening, kindness, non-judgment, confidentiality, respect, empathy, and unity.

ARTICLE 1 – Fields of Application

These Terms and Conditions are known as the « T & Cs » apply, without restriction or reservation to all Services “in the form of the activities of the Akhamani Association” and to the Events Bridged by Akhamani that are offered on the site www.akhamani.org.

Through the www.akhamani.org site, the Customer has access to the range of Services offered from time to time in Europe and to the Events Bridged by Akhamani that are offered worldwide.

The fact, for a natural or legal person (the Customer), to order on the site implies full acceptance of these T & Cs. They are accessible at any time on the website and upon request.

These T & Cs apply without restriction or reservation to all sales concluded by the Seller to the Customer wishing the Services offered for sale or advertised and bridged by the Seller on the site www.akhamani.org.

The Services offered for sale and the Events Bridged by Akhamani on the site are as follows:

  • Seminars
  • Workshops
  • Retreats
  • Healing by alternative methods


The main characteristics of the Services and in particular the specifications, illustrations, indications of the capacity of the Services, and the capacities necessary for each Customer for the activities, are presented on the site www.akhamani.org,  which the Customer is required to read before any order.

The choice of purchase of a Service and registration to an Event Bridged by Akhmani are at the sole responsibility of the Customer.

The Services and registrations to the Events Bridged by Akhamani are available while Stock “in the form of places” last, as specified when placing the order.

These T & Cs are accessible at any time on the site www.akhamani.org and shall prevail over any other document.

The Customer declares to have read these T&Cs and to have accepted them by clicking the box provided for this purpose before implementing the online ordering procedure of the site www.akhamani.org.

Unless proven otherwise, the data recorded in the Association’s computer system constitutes proof of all transactions concluded with Customers.

ARTICLE 2 – Nature of the Services

In accordance with the law of April 30, 1946 and decree n ° 60665 of July 4, 1960, articles L489 of the decree of October 8, 1996, Services in the form of “healing by alternative methods, support for self-development and well-being, mindfulness, and alternative energy techniques ” are non-therapeutic, and are not related to any medical or paramedical practice.

The terms “healing by alternative methods, support for self-development, well-being, mindfulness, and alternative energy techniques” are used only to translate techniques foreign to the French and to the International Customer.

These techniques of relaxation, well-being, energy techniques, and healing by alternative methods are of non-therapeutic, non-medical and non-paramedical purposes and are in no way erotic or sexual.

The Association’s Services are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

The various Services offered by the Association are reserved:

To anyone, whatever their gender, from 18 years old and over for retreats, seminars, and workshops dedicated to the support for self-development, well-being, mindfulness, and alternative energy techniques; from 16 years old and over for healing by alternative methods; and from 6 years and over for wellness workshops specific to children.

Parental authorization is required for minors (without their parents) starting at 16 years old.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by their parents.

People with medical conditions not recommended for the Services of the Association must have a medical certificate from their attending physician authorizing them to participate in these activities.

Concerning the Events Bridged by Akhamani, all of article 2 applies.

ARTICLE 3 – The Obligations of the Akhamani Association

The activities of the Association are carried out without discrimination, with respect for your privacy, your dignity, and your freedom

In its activities, the Association takes into account its limitations, skills and knowledge, as well as the means at its disposal. The Association must not, in particular, undertake Services for which its facilitators are not prepared, trained or sufficiently equipped to perform.

The Association refrains from practicing in conditions, states or places likely to compromise the quality of its Services and the dignity of the practice of the traditional knowledge of the ancestral people of the world.

In view of the elements brought to the attention of the Association’s activities, the latter may ask the Customer to provide a certificate of medical capacity before validating his-her participation in some of its Services.

In this case, failing to provide the certificate of medical capacity under the precautionary principle, the Association may refuse to allow the Customer to participate in its Services.

The Association undertakes to respect the basic rules of personal and clothing hygiene so as not to upset its Customers; and therefore, asks them to do the same for the personal comfort of the Association’s facilitator members (see Customer obligation.)

As a provider of its Services, the Association undertakes to respect:

  • The schedule agreed with the Customer
  • Everyone’s confidentiality
  • Morality
  • Care

The Association certifies that it has taken out civil liability insurance to cover its Services.

For the Events Bridged by Akhamani, the Association makes all efforts to promote events that abide by these same standards but holds no obligation or responsibility on behalf of these events and their organizers. The Customer agrees to register for these events at their own risk.

ARTICLE 3 – Customer’s Obligation

Before registering for the Association’s Services or the Events Bridged by Akhamani, the Customer is required to inform the Association and the Ancestral organizers of its state of health that may be impacted by the Services:

Example (but not limited to): occasional or chronic pain, infections, fevers, chronic diseases, reduced mobility, depression, anxiety, phobias, etc.

In case of doubt, a certificate from a doctor authorizing the Customer’s participation in the activities of the Association may be requested. For Events Bridged by Akhamani, it is the responsibility of the Customer to verify with the organizers of the Event whether such certificate is required.

In any event, the Customer must ensure that the Services offered by the Association and the Services offered by the Events Bridged by Akhamani are compatible with its physical and mental condition and that it does not have one or more contraindications described above.

In this regard, the Association or the organizers of the Events Bridged by Akhamani cannot be held responsible for accidents that occur due to the negligence of the Customer during these Services and Events.

The Association also reserves the right to refuse at any time a Customer whose state of health is incompatible with the activities offered. The same is applicable to the Events Bridged by Akhamani at the discretion of the organizers.

The Customer agrees to remain courteous, polite, and caring during its participation in the Services and the Events Bridged by Akhamani.

To pay for the Association’s Services, the Customer has the option of paying by Credit Card on the site www.akhamani.org, by bank transfer, or by check payable to “Association Akhamani”. These payment options will be specified in the description of each Event and may not all be available at once. To pay for the Events Bridged by Akhamani the Customer must pay directly to the organizers of the event. Customers must follow the payment instructions that are found in the event description.

Article 5 – Orders

In order to purchase Services or register to an Event Bridged by Akhamani, it is up to the Customer to select on the site www.akhamani.org the Services that it wishes to order/register to, according to the following terms:

The Customer chooses a Service or Event Bridged by Akhamani which it puts in its basket, can delete or modify before confirming its order and accepting the T&C’s. It then enters its contact details or connects to its account and chooses the payment method, and finalizes its order.

For Services, after validation of the information and participation criteria by the Association, and reception of the payment, the order will be considered final (“Validated Order”). For payments by credit card, payment will be processed as soon as the participation criteria has been validated. For payments by check or bank transfer, payment must be made within 7 days of purchase of the Service and the order will only be considered final upon receipt of this payment. Failure to send payment in a timely manner will result in the Association canceling the order.

For Events Bridged by Akhamani, the same process applies. Your order will be validated once the Association receives confirmation of your payment by the organizers of this event.

The Services and Events Bridged by Akhamani are valid as long as they appear available on the site, within the limit of Stocks “in the form of places” available.

It is the Customer’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of the order and to immediately report any errors.

Any order placed on the site www.akhamani.org constitutes the formation of a contract concluded at a distance between the Customer and the Seller.

The Seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a Customer with whom there is a dispute relating to the non-payment of a previous order.

The Customer will be able to follow the progress of its order on the site.

Article 5.1 – Refund:

  • In the event of cancellation by the Customer 15 days before the start of the Service, it remains due in its entirety and will therefore not be refundable.
  • In the event of cancellation by the Customer 20 days before the start of the Service, it remains due at 50% and will therefore be reimbursed at 50%.
  • In the event of cancellation by the Customer 30 days before the start of the Service, the latter will be refunded the remaining sum after deduction of processing fees & the costs already incurred for the reservation (cost of the provision of external services, accommodation and transport when applicable).

For Events Bridged by Akhamani, the Association does not process payments and thus isn’t responsible for refunds. Its is the Customer’s responsibility to verify the terms of refunds with the event organizer directly.

ARTICLE 6 – How Activities Are Conducted

Article 6.1 – Location

The Services organized and lead by the Association take place in private spaces throughout Europe and are chosen according to the nature of the activity. Concerning the Events Bridged by Akhamani, they take place on different premises and private grounds throughout the world and are chosen according to the ancestral wisdom keeper’s vision of the event. The address/location of each Service/event will be communicated in the description of each workshop, healing by an alternative method, and retreat.

Indoor and outdoor services take place:

  • Lying on a mat (either provided or to be brought by the Customer) or;
  • Sitting on a chair or;
  • Sitting on a meditation cushion (either provided or to be brought by the Customer) or;
  • Standing during certain physical activities;
  • In groups (and on occasions in individual sessions)

Concerning the Events Bridged by Akhamani, the details of how the events are conducted will be found in the description of the event advertised on the site www.akhamani.org

Article 6.2 – Duration of workshops, retreats, and treatment by alternative methods

For both the events organized and lead by the Association as well as the Events Bridged by Akhamani, the number of hours included in the rates for one-off activities varies according to the nature of the activity, the location, and the purpose of the activity. The duration of the activities can be adjusted according to the number of participants. This is so as not to impact the quality of the experience.

Article 6.3 – Accommodation during activities lasting several days

For the events organized and lead by the Association, all participants are in charge of their own lodging accommodation. The Customer must book or organize its stay near the event. Lodging Accommodations are not included in the rates. For the Events Bridged by Akhamani, all terms concerning accommodations are described in the event details and are the responsibility of the organizers of the event.

Article 6.4 – Transport included in the price

For the events organized and lead by the Association, the Customer is responsible for its transportation to and from the event. For the Events Bridged by Akhamani, all terms concerning Transportation are described in the event details. Akhamani holds no responsibility or liability related to transportation to and from these events, and failure to secure transportation will not constitute a valid reason for cancelation or refund.

Article 6.5 – Execution of the service:

Pursuant to Article L.6351-1 of the Labor Code, for lack of total or partial performance of the Service:

  • As a result of the Association, and in the absence of a notification 15 days before the start of the Service, the Association will not invoice the sums relating to the parts of the Service not performed and undertakes to reimburse them.
  • In the event of unavailability for a justified cause (illness, weather conditions, conditions linked to restrictions in foreign territories, serious accidents, cases of force majeure recognized by French case law), the Service will be interrupted, postponed or canceled.
  • In the event of cancellation, the Association will reimburse the entire Service with the exception of costs incurred by Customers which are not included in the Service (plane tickets purchased to attend an activity, lodging, etc.).
  • In the event of partial performance of the Service, the Association undertakes to reimburse the sums relating to the parts of the Service not performed.
  • In the event of postponement, the Association will not be responsible for the costs incurred by Customers who are not included in the Service (plane tickets purchased to attend an activity, lodging, etc. ).

Concerning the Events Bridged by Akhamani, customers are highly encouraged to contact the event organizers to discuss terms of the execution of the Services. With that said, the Association holds no responsibility or liability for any disputes or complaints relevant to the terms of the execution of the Servies concerning any Event Bridged by Akhamani.

Article 6.6 – Prior Informational Meeting

Certain Services and Event Bridged by Akhamani, in particular, events lasting several days, offer one or more informational meetings prior to the event, which aim to explain the procedures of the activities and to inform the Customer of any contraindications.

The date of each informational meeting will be communicated in the description of the Service at the time of its publication. It is therefore the Customer’s responsibility to take note of these dates and to attend each informational meeting.

In this regard, the Association cannot be held responsible for accidents or problems related to lack of attendance at these informational meetings, and failure to attend will not constitute a valid reason for cancelation or refund.

ARTICLE 7 – Prices

The Services and Events Bridged by Akhamani are provided at the current rates listed on the site www.akhamani.org when the order is registered by the Association.

The prices take into account any reductions that may be granted by the Association on the site www.akhamani.org.

The prices indicated on the website are expressed in Euros, excluding VAT and correspond to those in force on the day of the order or reservation of a Service.

These prices are firm and non-negotiable during their period of validity. However, The Association reserves the right, outside the validity period, to modify the prices at any time.

An invoice is established by the Association and given to the Customer when paying for a Service.

In regards to the Events Bridged by Akhamani, the Association acts only as a registration platform for these events, and all payments are made directly to the event organizers. As such, the Association will only provide a confirmed registration receipt for the Events Bridged by Akhamani once the Association has received confirmation of payment from the ancestral organizers. The Association is not responsible for any payment transaction, invoices, or dispute related to the Events Bridged by Akhamani.

ARTICLE 8 – Liability

No member of the Association is personally responsible for the commitments entered into by it. Only the patrimony of the association is responsible for its commitments. No member of the Governing Body is personally responsible for the commitments made by any member of the Association, in which case only the civil liability of the member is engaged.

The Services are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. They are non-therapeutic, and do not relate to any medical or paramedical practice.

Additionally, all Customer registrations and participation in the Events Bridged by Akhamani are at the sole risk and responsibility of the Customer. Only the organizers of the Events Bridged by Akhamani can speak on behalf of their liability. The customer is encouraged to communicate with them directly for further information. The Association is therefore not liable for any occurrence resulting from the registration, participation, and involvement in these events.

ARTICLE 9 – Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with the standards enacted by the Hamon Law, the online consumer has a 14-day withdrawal period. Indeed, you have the possibility of exercising a right of withdrawal within 14 days from the working day following the conclusion of the contract, except in the case of fulfillment of Services (period starts from the day of receipt of the Service).

To do so, you must send a Registered Letter with Acknowledgment of Receipt to the Akhamani Association at 182 Rue De Lompret, 59130 Lambersart, France. Reimbursement of the service “in the form of paid activities of the Akhamani Association” will occur within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of withdrawal. In the event of non-reimbursement within the time limits, the Association will be liable for the payment of late interest (interest at the legal rate).

Article 9.1 – Exclusion of the Withdrawal Period

However, this withdrawal period does not apply in the following situations:

  • The execution of the Service is finalized before the end of the 14-day period
  • The price of the service depends on market fluctuations
  • Any Service performed having a specific set date

ARTICLE 10 – Responsibility of the Service Provider

The Services offered on the site www.akhamani.org comply with the regulations in force in France.

The Association will not be considered responsible or at fault for any delay or non-performance resulting from a case of force majeure recognized by French law.

For the Events Bridged by Akhamani, the Association makes every effort to facilitate events that meet these same standards. However, the Association holds no responsibility for compliance with the regulations in force in France for these events. The Customer is urged to carefully consider their involvement in these events and agrees to register to them at their own risk.

ARTICLE 11 – Disputes

Any disputes which may arise from the application or interpretation of this Agreement is subject to an attempt at mediation.

Thus, any complaint must be sent to the Association by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt within 15 days of the day of the provision of the Service concerned:

In the absence of mediation, the disputes will be submitted to the Tribunal de Grande Instance of Lille, France.

ARTICLE 12 – Applicable Law

All the clauses appearing in these T & Cs  as well as all the operations of providing services in the form of the activities of the Association referred to therein, will be subject to French law.

Terms of Use

Article 1: Object

These Terms of Use or General Conditions of Use provide a legal framework to the use of the services of the Akhamani site: www.akhamani.org

Constituting the contract between the Akhamani Association and the User, the access to the site must be preceded by acceptance of these Terms of Use. Access to this platform signifies acceptance of these Terms of Use.

Article 3: Access to the Site

The Akhamani site provides free access to the following services:

  • General information on the activities and events of the Association and the Events Bridged by Akhamani
  • Communication forums dedicated to members of the Association


The site is accessible free of charge from anywhere by any user with access to the Internet. All costs necessary for access to the services (computer equipment, Internet connection, etc.) are the responsibility of the user.

Access to services dedicated to members is made using a username and password.

For maintenance or other reasons, access to the site may be interrupted or suspended by the publisher without notice or justification.

Article 4: Data Collection

For the creation of the User’s account, the collection of information at the time of registration on the site is necessary and mandatory. In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6 relating to computers, files and freedoms, the collection and processing of personal information is carried out with respect to private life.

According to the Data Protection Act dated January 6, 1978, Articles 39 and 40 and the European Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, the User has the right to access, rectify, delete, oppose and port its personal data. The exercise of this right is carried out by:

Article 5: Intellectual Property

The brands, logos, and the contents of the Akhamani site (graphic illustrations, texts, videos, audio recordings, articles, and written content, etc.) are protected by the Intellectual Property Code and by copyright.

The reproduction and copying of the content by the User require prior authorization from the site. In this case, any use for commercial purposes or for advertising purposes is prohibited.

Article 6: Liability

Although the information published on the site is deemed reliable, the site reserves the right to not guarantee the reliability of the sources.

The information published on the Akhamani site is presented for informational purposes only and has no contractual value. Despite regular updates, the site cannot be held liable for any modification of the administrative and legal provisions appearing after publication. The same is true for the use and interpretation of information communicated on the platform.

The site declines all responsibility for any viruses that may infect the User’s computer equipment after using or accessing this site.

The site cannot be held responsible in the event of force majeure or the unforeseeable and insurmountable fact of a third party.

The total guarantee of data security and confidentiality is not guaranteed by the site. However, the site undertakes to implement all the methods required to do so as well as possible.

Article 7: Hypertext Links

The site may consist of hypertext links. By clicking on these, the User will exit the platform. The latter has no control and cannot be held responsible for the content of web pages relating to these links.

Article 8: Cookies

During visits to the site, the automatic installation of a cookie on the User’s browser software may occur.

Cookies correspond to small files temporarily placed on the hard drive of the User’s computer. These cookies are necessary to ensure accessibility and navigation on the site. These files do not contain personal information and cannot be used to identify a person.

The information in cookies is used to improve browsing performance on the Akhamani.org site.

By browsing the site, the User accepts cookies. Their deactivation can be done via the settings of the navigation software or in the window presented during the first visit to the Akhamani.org site.

Article 9: Publication by the User

The Akhamani site allows members to post comments.

In their publications, the member is required to respect the rules of Netiquette as well as the rules of law in force.

The site has the right to exert a priori moderation on publications and can refuse their posting without having to provide justification.

The member retains all of his intellectual property rights. However, any publication on the site implies the delegation of the non-exclusive and free right to the publishing company to represent, reproduce, modify, adapt, share and distribute the publication anywhere and on any medium for the duration of the publication of the intellectual property. This can be done directly or through an authorized third party. This concerns in particular the right to use the publication on the web and on mobile telephone networks.

With each use, the publisher agrees to mention the name of the member near the publication.

The User is held responsible for any content he uploads. The User agrees not to publish any content that may harm the interests of third parties. All legal proceedings instituted by an injured third party against the site must be borne by the User.

The removal or modification by the site of User content can be done at any time, for any reason, and without notice.

Article 10: Duration of the Contract

This contract is valid for an indefinite period. The start of the use of the site’s services marks the application of the contract with the User.

Article 11: Applicable Law and Competent Jurisdiction

This contract is subject to French law. The lack of an amicable resolution of disputes between the parties implies recourse to the competent French courts to settle the dispute.
