While each of us follows a unique path, there are many universal threads that tie us all together.

Many of us have been a parent, a child, a sibling, a friend, a guide, or a significant other at some point — experiences that, while deeply personal, are shared by almost everyone.

At a glance, it might seem like we are worlds apart, defined by borders, languages, religion, and opposing viewpoints. However, if we look deeper, past these superficial layers, we discover that our core desires, dreams, and even fears are strikingly similar. They are the universal longings that bind us; the common ground upon which we can all stand, irrespective of the various paths we are on.

It is in this vast, colourful tapestry of life beyond cultures, backgrounds, philosophies and perspectives that we find a common thread that weaves the fabric of our human experience: we love & want to be loved, we struggle, we suffer, we dream, we want to be happy, and we want to belong. It is this shared common bond that unites us in our vulnerability, desires, and aspirations.

This universal core isn’t a new discovery; it’s as ancient as humanity itself.

The Unifying New Fire is a call for coexistence; it’s an invitation to delve deeper into our shared humanity.

It’s a recognition that our shared humanity comes with a collective responsibility to nurture understanding, compassion, loving kindness, wisdom, and unity.

It is an invitation to be curios, to explore similarities, and embrace common needs; to contribute to the creation of a world where our differences become threads in the vibrant tapestry of our shared humanity, weaving a narrative of connection, empathy, and a collective journey toward a peaceful future.

The Unifying New Fire in Europe is a testament to the extraordinary strength of the human spirit that resides within each and every one of us. It is the wellspring of resilience, courage, and the indomitable will to overcome adversity.

It is the spirit that encompasses the intangible aspects of our being, including our emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and aspirations. It is the driving force behind our actions and the source of our inner strength. It is the beacon that guides us through the darkest of times.

Lighting the Unifying New Fire in Europe is a call to ignite a fire within us that refuses to be extinguished; that is inherently compassionate and allows us to connect with ourselves and others beyond ignorance.

It is a reminder to create a harmonious world.

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” ~ Howard Thurman

The Unifying New Fire in Europe is a call to come alive.

From scrolls to printing presses, from telescopes to rockets, humanity stretched beyond its limits. It split the atom, decoded the gene, stepped on the moon, and mapped the invisible web of the cosmos. Yet for all its triumphs, it still stands fragile — for war remains, hunger lingers, and the earth groans under the weight of human ambition.

Yet, even in the darkest hours, a quiet defiance endures — a belief that tomorrow can be brighter. This spark is present in the slums where children learn to read by candlelight, in the labs where scientists labor to cure the incurable, in the forests where protectors shield the last ancient trees, in the ancestral people who continue to carry the ceremonial ways forward— the flame continues.

It lives in those who forgive after great pain, who plant trees knowing they will never sit in their shade, who build bridges instead of walls. It is in the artist’s brush, the teacher’s devotion, the activist’s cry, the mother’s lullaby.

The fire in humanity is not a straight line. It dims, it forgets, and it learns again. But in each generation, there are those who carry the fire forward — not of destruction, but of creation, connection, and compassion.

It burns in you, in me, in all of humanity. We are the new bearers of this ancient fire that is still being lit with every act of kindness, every act of respect, every heart open, every hand held, every injustice challenged, every difficulty crossed with courage.

The Unifying New Fire in Europe is the flame of becoming. It is the universality of humanity’s grace that is not limited by nationality, color, or religion. It is the language without borders and the bond that binds us together as humans and celebrates the wisdom and beauty of our differences.

This event is free for those who wish to attend.
If you wish to be put on the waitlist, please email us at events@akhamani.org.

Langues: English
Quand: June 18th – 21st
Horaire : 4-day event
Où: Alps, near Zurich, Switzerland

Food, snacks, drinks and lodging is not included.
Please plan accordingly for your snacks and drinks during breaks.

When we gather around the fire, sometimes people ask an important question: Why is it that at the heart of gathering together as human beings, Fire is involved? Why Fire? Why Fire Now?

It’s a story as old as we are human beings. We see echoes of the same story in the sacred narratives of many spiritual traditions around the world.

Once upon a time, there was a natural, mysterious world that existed before humanity arrived. During this time, we were part of nature and moved in the world just like the other animals. But, we didn’t have claws, fangs, or wings. We didn’t run on all fours or live in the water. We didn’t have fur like the others. We lived in a primal wilderness like a garden of Eden yet moved and roamed the land without shelter or center.

Then something happened that changed our way of life forever. Fire arrived in our lives and we developed a special relationship with fire. Through the gift of fire, we now had light in the darkness, and warmth in the cold. How and what we ate changed as we began to cook our food. Amazingly, this presence was much more than utilitarian.

We began to gather in circle and found ourselves with the capacity to see the world in a different way than the rest of creation. Instead of living in the immediate flow of the world like the rest of creation, we were able to ‘step back’ and reflect. For the first time, we could think about how to gather food or build shelter. We could plan and coordinate our actions. We could think about how to do things differently or better. This “mind” that we found ourselves with became endlessly creative as a tool that could be applied to many practical situations. We built many types of shelter. We made clothing, hunted with implements, grew crops and organized ourselves in fruitful ways; not only allowing us to survive, but to thrive through methods the other animals didn’t have. However, this gift of the mind (and our capacity to reflect and see that we see) would change our world forever.

This gift produced a split from the mysterious living creation of the world, leaving us feeling separate from others and with the potential to feel disconnected from the sense of who we are and how to move in the world in a balanced way. This gift came at a very high price. The voice of the mind, sometimes called the ego, left to its own agenda, produced extraordinary suffering and destruction.

But, it was known by the divine essence that we were going to get into trouble and it gave us five basic antidotes to the drawbacks of this gift of the mind. We were given:

Wisdom: To help us live a good life, though it would have to be earned and learned. Wisdom would illuminate the natural blindness and selfishness of the mind and show us how to better understand life, the world, each other, and ourselves.

Traditions: The various ways that people in community hold wisdom, preserve it, and pass it on to future generations. This includes how we work with wisdom as an ever unfolding mystery of life that produces change.

Specialized Emotions: Courage to overcome the natural fear in the mind. Gratitude to honor what we receive. Humor and laughter so the burden of our separation would be lightened. We were given deep grief in order to help us let go of loss.

Ceremony: To help us transcend our sense of separation and feel more closely connected to the mystery of the world, unperceivable by our minds.

Keeping Fire: An expression of heart, connection, and transformation in order to keep us open when doubts and fear cloud our minds.

For some, special plants were also gifted to accompany these 5 antidotes. For thousands of years throughout the many lands, people lived and remained devoted to these 5 gifts as they were born, lived, shared with others, and passed on from this world.

For a long time, the mind gave us great advantages, yet it was balanced by wisdom, tradition, ceremony, special emotions, and keeping fire so that life could continue in a harmonious way. However, over time, the voice of the mind grew louder and louder and led to imbalance:

Wisdom was cast in doubt and later confused with information.

Cultures dedicated to living in wisdom were overrun, neglected, and forgotten.

Emotions became misunderstood and controlled.

Ceremony was misjudged, unappreciated, or forgotten, and

Keeping Fire became feared or relegated to being utilitarian.

Even in this time of great material and financial prosperity, people felt increasingly disconnected from themselves, each other, and the natural world. The individual’s and community’s sense of purpose and meaning began to fade, while confusion, distrust, and false knowing arose in its place.

We are living in these times of confusion and imbalance NOW.

The spirit of fire, often known as Grandfather Fire, has once again appeared to help us in this time of difficulty and need–to help us balance the mind with the wisdom of heart.

Out of this inspiration and the guidance of many widom keepers from around the world, the Unifying Ancestral New Fire was formed to support humanity’s connection to heart, mind, and spirit through fire throughout the stages and cycles of life for generations to come. Our aspiration is to sustain and cultivate a unifying fire in Europe for a better humanity.

The Journey & its Realizations

After a year and a half of dedicated research, contemplation, introspection, integration of teachings recived from wisdom keepers around the world, and various pilgrimages accross sacred sites in Europe, the Unifying Ancestral New Fire in Europe was born.

Our journey has revealed that, beyond cultural differences, the act of lighting sacred fires is a universal symbol of shared humanity, wisdom, compassion, tradition, and unification.

Universally, a fire ceremony is a special aspect of the human experience– where and when we allow ourselves to acknowledge a transition from one state of consciousness to the next through purification, release, obstacle removal, and transformation.

In the summer solstice of 2026 we will light a Unifying Ancestral New Fire in Europe, an event that has not occurred in many years—a sacred moment marked by the unification of ancient ashes from revered traditions from North America, South America, India, Nepal, Tibet, and Mongolia.

Through this act, we acknowledge our diverse cultural heritages, celebrating the universal essence of the sacred fire that unites us all.

We thank all of the wisdom keepers who have gathered with us to ignite a new chapter of collective remembrance, wisdom, and unity.

Event Description

We express our deep gratitude and acknowledgment to the many wisdom keepers who have offered their continuous support by sharing with us their wisdom, guidance, and teachings. Their experience, humility, and support in the journey to this cremony represents a vital part in its unfolding.

Even though not all wisdom keepers who are accompanying us in this journey could be present in the physical, they are all with us in spirit, through the oral transmissions they have entrusted us with, and through the act of the lighting of the Unifying Ancestral New Fire in Europe.

We are grateful to all of them for joining us and for their support. Without them, none of this would be possible. May this journey benefit all of creation.

Through this merit, may all beings attain the omniscient state of enlightenment, and conquer the enemy of faults and delusion. May they all be liberated from this ocean of saṃsāra and from its pounding waves of birth, old age, sickness and death!

For all our relations.

Supporting Akhamani Ambassadors

With profound gratitude and respect, we thank the Akhamani Ambassadors who will be joining us with their presence, their wisdom, and their teachings in support of the lighting of the Unifying Ancestral New Fire in Europe.

Our gratitude and respect also goes to the late abuelo Jesús Fabián Ortiz of the Olmec lineage for his trust in us; for making us custodians of the Chickaban fire ashes; and for opening the door to a journey that birthed the lighting of this Unifying Ancestral New Fire in Europe.

Joining Akhamani Ambassadors

Attending, in person

Crizalia Le Blan

Co-founder and president of Akhamani

As a shaman, channeler, women’s trainer, and Eastern psychologist, it is my mission to empower us women to use our strength to bring balance to the world.

Amir Oorzhak

Amir Oorzhak is a hereditary Black Shaman of the Nine Heavens, inherited from both his father’s and mother’s sides, from Tuva, the cradle of shamanism. My journey took me to various farms across Europe and in Mexico, where l endeavored to deepen my relationship with plants, fostering my understanding of biomes, and our place in the environment.

During this time, l complementarily began to seek teachings from ancestral wisdom keepers. I am committed to keep learning how to live in balance so that l can align my practices and daily life with the traditions of our ancestors. At the moment l am focusing on the sacred ways of ancestral fire keeping. With this aspiration l keep visiting ancestral comunities around the world – observing and seeking their advice in order to come closer to the essential practices that are common in our shared humanity.

Oral Transmission

As our awareness and knowledge of ancestral traditions and culture increases, so must our honour and respect for these ways. This has not always been the case in many ancestral communities. There are always those who present themselves as Healers, Elders or Medicine People who have not earned that title and may use the teachings and medicines in the wrong way. It is important for everyone, especially young people, to be aware of this and to exercise caution when they seek healing, teachings or advice. It is advisable to consult with people whom you trust to get referrals to respected and recognized Traditional Elders, Healers or Medicine People.

Special acknowledgement and gratitude goes to the many elders who chose to remain anonymous and are thus not here named and to the elders here mentioned for their wisdom, guidance, and support. Without their experience, wisdom, humility, and support, we would not have been introduced to the sacred ways of the Ancestral Path; to the Wisdom of Nature, of creation; and to the path of Liberation. It is because of them that the unfolding of the Unifying Ancestral New Fire Ceremony is possible.
